Anti spam for Exchange and Lotus Domino

Anti-spam for Exchange Server – Never miss a legitimate email

No anti-spam vendor claims 100% accurate spam filtering – which is precisely why Policy Patrol Spam Filter includes an email quarantine report that allows users to quickly scan through the list of newly quarantined spam messages in Outlook and deliver emails and white list addresses.

Instead of just placing all spam in the junk mail folder that users forget to check, the user is now reminded to scan a list of quarantined emails, which enables them to detect any incorrectly quarantined messages. With the Known Spam/Suspected Spam classification, the user does not waste time on known spam, but only scans over the suspected spam messages.

Immediate Spam Relief

Policy Patrol Spam Filter ships with a default anti-spam configuration that will start blocking spam within seconds after installation. You will easily configure your system at the Administrator level for immediate results.

Offload Administrators

Policy Patrol Spam Filter allows you to offload work from Administrators by leveraging users to manage their own spam reduction in a high benefit-to-cost manner. This adds spam “eye-witness” efficiencies to organization-wide efforts and allows Administrators to use the advanced options to optimize results.

Save bandwidth

Why download messages that are sure to be spam? Policy Patrol can reject messages from senders on DNS black lists and messages without valid recipients before they are downloaded. Most other anti-spam solutions first download the entire message and then delete it. With Policy Patrol Spam Filter you can save bandwidth and processing times by simply rejecting the messages before they are even downloaded.

Lemon Law

Ohio legislators passed one of the most comprehensive lemon laws in the nation in 1987. It requires automakers to repair defects that affect the use, value, or safety of a new motor vehicle within the first 12 months or 18,000 miles (whichever comes first). If you are having problems with your NEW purchased or leased vehicle, you should immediately take it to an authorized dealer for repair.

The automaker or dealer must be given a reasonable opportunity to fix the problem, and if the problem is not corrected, you might be eligible for a refund or replacement. You are covered by this law even if the problem was discovered late in the protection period and the repair attempts extend beyond one year or 18,000 miles. Failure to comply with parts of Ohio's Lemon Law is a violation of Ohio's Consumer Sales Practices Act.

Mesothelioma

Pleural tumour encasing the left lungMesothelioma is a rare type of cancer that occurs in the lining of the body's internal organs, a thin layer of cells known as the mesothelium. While very thin, this layer of cells is vitally important to organ function and the health of the inner body structures. There are three recognized types of mesothelioma. Pleural mesothelioma occurs in the pleural lining of the lungs and is the most common form of the disease. Peritoneal mesothelioma occurs within the peritoneum, which lines the abdominal cavity and is the second most common form of the disease. Pericardial mesothelioma is the rarest variety of the disease and occurs in the pericardial lining of the heart. The primary cause of mesothelioma is exposure to asbestos, though other factors, such as smoking may increase the likeliness of the disease in certain individuals.

How is Mesothelioma Treated?

Mesothelioma TreatedMesothelioma is an aggressive cancer but can be managed with chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and surgery. Currently, there is no known cure for asbestos cancer but several mesothelioma treatment regimens have proven to be successful in helping the patient avoid pain and discomfort caused by the disease. Several therapies have emerged in recent years that have extended survival rates to levels previously thought to be impossible. Cancer centers have initiated hundreds of clinical trials in recent years to help mesothelioma patients find a therapy that works for them while still working towards a cure for future patients. Progressive therapies are now being developed through the International Mesothelioma Program under the direction of thoracic specialist Dr. David Sugarbaker.

How is Mesothelioma Diagnosed?

Mesothelioma DiagnosedMalignant mesothelioma can be difficult to diagnose because symptoms of the disease often closely mimic those of less serious conditions. It will often require X-ray and other body scans (CT or MRI) in addition to a biopsy to conclusively diagnose mesothelioma. Nevertheless, those experiencing chronic cough, difficulty swallowing, chest pain, or breathing difficulties should alert their physician immediately. This is particularly true among those with a known asbestos-exposure history. Those with asbestos exposure history should communicate this to their physician even before symptoms appear so that they may be able to alert patients to warning signs of the disease. If detected early enough, patients may be eligible for aggressive treatment options, including surgical resection of the mesothelioma cancer and affected tissue. Oncologists and thoracic specialists will be able to assist the patient in determining the extent of the disease and the best treatment options for that particular patient.

Asbestos Exposure

Asbestos ExposureAsbestos exposure was common among industrial workers. Among the more common jobsites were those in the shipbuilding industry, such as the Todd Shipyards or Newport News Naval Shipyard. Other jobsites include power plants, chemical manufacturing, or the metal works industry. Those with asbestos history should notify their doctor and learn of possible warning signs of health complications caused by exposure. Those who have been made sick by asbestos exposure should fill out the form on this page to receive a free asbestos and mesothelioma information kit detailing top doctors, new treatments, and how to obtain financial compensation for asbestos disease.

Home broadband Internet use on the rise

The American appetite for high-speed Internet hasn't been stalled by the recession.

Among U.S. consumers surveyed, 63 percent now have broadband access at home, up from 55 percent a year ago. The study, released Wednesday by the Pew Research Center's Internet & American Life Project, found that home broadband adoption has bounced back from 2008's relative period of stagnation.

High-speed access has risen among a wide spectrum of groups by age and income. Usage among people 65 years and older grew to 30 percent in April 2009, versus 19 percent in May 2008. For people aged 50 to 64 years, usage jumped to 61 percent this year from 50 percent in 2008.

Among consumers with incomes of $20,000 or less, 35 percent have broadband compared with 25 percent last year. For people in rural areas, high-speed access climbed to 46 percent in April from 38 percent last year.

Internet access was seen by those surveyed as a vital tool for finding information. About 68 percent said the Internet is a "very important" way to stay updated about their community. To trim expenses, more than twice as many people said they had cut back or dropped a cell phone or cable TV plan than said they had canceled their Internet access.

Only 7 percent of the people surveyed said they still use a dial-up connection at home, half the level it had been two years ago. Among those people, 32 percent said the price would have to fall for them to consider moving to broadband, while 17 percent said it would have to become available in their area.

The Pew Internet Project is a nonprofit group that analyzes the effect of the Internet on children, families, communities, the workplace, schools, health care and civic/political life. The survey results were based on interviews with 2,253 U.S. consumers.

Mesothelioma Prognosis

Approximately 2,000 to 3,000 new cases of mesothelioma are diagnosed each year in the United States. Once a patient is diagnosed a doctor will invariably discuss their prognosis, or probable course and outcome of the disease’s influence on the body.

What Factors Affect Prognosis?

Mesothelioma is not generally diagnosed until the disease is in its latest stages of development primarily because of the amount of time it takes for mesothelioma patients to display the symptoms associated with the disease. In many cases, mesothelioma symptoms do not appear until several decades after the initial asbestos exposure occurred. Additionally, the symptoms of mesothelioma are very general, and often resemble less serious conditions which can make the cancer difficult to diagnose. As a result, the prognosis for the majority of patients is poor, but many doctors can recommend treatment options such as surgery, chemotherapy and radiation to help combat the disease.

Doctors typically address the cancer in terms of stages , ranging from stage one to stage four, with the cancer’s progression increasing with each stage. A mesothelioma patient’s stage greatly affects their prognosis. Unfortunately, once mesothelioma cancer has reached stage three or four, treatment options not only become more limited but less effective as well. When a patient has stage four mesothelioma, the cancer has spread to other parts of the body, and tumors have often deeply penetrated organs and tissues. The poor general health of the patient often rules out the possibility of surgery.

Asbestos.com offers a complimentary packet containing information about treatment options and top doctors that may be able to help improve a patient’s prognosis.

In addition to the stage of the cancer at diagnosis and the age of the patient, other factors that affect prognosis include:

  • The type of mesothelioma –pleural, peritoneal, pericardial or testicular
  • The size of the tumor
  • The location of the tumor and whether it can be surgically removed
  • The extent of other symptoms, including fluid in the lungs or abdomen
  • Whether or not the patient is a smoker

Malignant mesothelioma is typically diagnosed in individuals over 55 years old, though there are certainly exceptions. Because of this, some patients who are diagnosed already have multiple medical problems caused by advancing age, making treatment even more difficult and increasing the mortality rate among mesothelioma patients.

Asbestos.com offers a complimentary informational packet for patients and their loved ones detailing treatment options and top mesothelioma doctors.

Mesothelioma Survival Rates

Many studies have been conducted in regards to survival rates among mesothelioma patients. When discussing survival rates for this or any type of cancer, references to the "five-year relative survival rate" are often stated. This number refers to the percentage of patients who live at least five years after their cancer is diagnosed. However, in studies involving mesothelioma patients, the figures do not include patients that pass away from diseases other than mesothelioma.

According to statistics published by the American Cancer Society, the five-year relative survival rate for patients with mesothelioma is approximately 10 percent. That number has improved in the last five years, up from 9 percent reported at the end of 2002. In addition, recent studies show that the one-year survival rate is now about 40 percent, a number that has also gone up in the past five years. Throughout the 1990s, it was rare for a patient to survive more than a year after diagnosis.

Though numerous factors affect a patient’s prognosis such as age, overall health, and the type of mesothelioma the patient is battling, in general, the average length of survival reported throughout the last five years has been 10 to 11 months after diagnosis.

Exciting stories about mesothelioma survivors continue to surface.

Anti Spam Exchange Server

Anti Spam Section

Welcome to the MSExchange.org anti spam section. Here you will find the latest news, white papers, and a number of essential links to help all Exchange administrators combat spam on their servers. This section also contains the exclusive MSExchange.org Server Based Anti Spam Comparison Chart, a comprehensive comparison of eight of the leading anti spam products for Exchange Server.

Choosing the right software

In the past, when spam mail was in its infancy, simply setting up certain keyword rules on your users' email client would usually do the trick to block unsolicited mail - or you just wouldn't bother since a few sporadic messages never caused too much trouble. However, now that over 75% of Internet email consists of spam, a more complete and realistic solution is required. As a network administrator, you are faced with two options; a 'Client-Based Solution' or a 'Server Based Solution'. We would strongly recommend server based software: this installs at the gateway, centralizing all spam management configuration and filtering out spam before it reaches your mail server or Exchange message store, as opposed to a client-based approach which would require constant updating of client configurations.

MSExchange.org Server Based Antispam Comparison

With the multitude of antispam solutions for Exchange, choosing the one that's suited to your network's present and future needs is no simple task. That's why we have prepared this feature comparison in which eight of the leading vendors of antispam solutions have participated. By comparing the features of these solutions side by side, you should be able to get a clearer picture of which solution is the best overall and which one will provide you with the best value for money, ensuring that the solution that you eventually pursue turns out to be the right one.

Permanent Hair Removal

In recent years, laser clinics, medical spas, and plastic surgeons’ offices have been quite loose with their use of the term “permanent hair removal.” The question is what do they mean by permanent? While lasers are FDA approved, the FDA does not allow for the marketing of technologies and services that state permanent hair removal. This is because technologies like laser hair removal provide a permanent reduction of hair growth up to 90%, give or take 10%. This means that you shouldn’t expect to permanently remove every single hair from the targeted area; however, you can expect to remove the vast majority of it. Hence, the FDA’s use of the term “permanent hair reduction” rather than permanent hair removal. For the few cases that hair does grow back, the hair that grows in is usually lighter and finer. Still we cannot say hair lasers are permanent without acknowledging the possibility of that 10%. However, when you stack that 10% against waxing or tweezing, the reduction in hair and hair removal costs is mind-boggling. Simply stated, laser treatments at the moment offer as close to permanent results as you’re able to get, making it the most permanent solution on the market.

A treatment that can be considered completely permanent is electrolysis . Because electrolysis works follicle by follicle, utilizing a small needle with electrical current, it is safe to say that the individual follicle treated will be permanently removed. While electrolysis is considered highly effective for small areas such as the upper lip and chin, the advent of laser technology has made electrolysis less than ideal for larger areas such as full facial hair removal or bikini hair removal. Lasers, on the other hand, offer control and efficiency for large areas, especially the back and full legs. Imagine having to sit through multiple sessions of electrolysis when you’re treating your full legs or back! Additionally, electrolysis can be quite painful and can cause skin discoloration in darker skin tones.

Growth Cylces

Take a look at your arm! Did you know that your hair grows in stages? Laser treatments to so long to achieve permanent results because hair grows at different stages. Hair needs to be at the optimal growth stage in order to be effected by the lasers light. If the hair is in resting, shedding, or invisible stage, it will not be effected by the laser's light and in turn will not be permanent

Our guide offers a convenient resource for all things related to permanent laser hair removal. If you're strongly considering laser hair removal, we suggest you research the procedure through credible sources and also attend a consultation with 2-3 local providers before making a final decision. 100 Home Equity Loan

100% Equity Home Loan Education

You've probably heard about home equity loans, but what about a 100 percent home equity loan?

It's one way to free up resources from your home. Another way is to simply refinance your current mortgage. Either route you choose, you may be able to tap into the equity that you've accumulated.

How A 100 Percent Home Equity Loan Works

To begin, all lenders establish a maximum loan-to-value (LTV) ratio (i.e. all outstanding loan amounts divided by the home's appraised value). For example, a lender that establishes a maximum LTV of 80 percent would allow $80,000 to be borrowed if the appraised home value is $100,000 (80,000/100,00 = 80% LTV).

With a 100 percent home equity loan, you actually borrow 100 percent of your home's value (e.g. $100,000/$100,000 = 100% LTV).

Under the above example with $80,000 in existing loan amounts, the borrower could access $20,000 of equity; the difference between the appraised home value and the amount of the outstanding loans.

100% Home Equity Loan Example

Simply stated, a 100 percent home equity loan means you open an additional loan or line of credit accessing your home's equity. The home equity loan or credit line combined with your current mortgage balance totals 100 percent of your home's value, and you end up with more than one loan.

For example, if your home's value totals $100,000 and your loan balances equal $80,000, you could open a $20,000 home equity loan or line of credit. See Chart 1

100% Home Equity Loan Example

100 Percent Mortgage Refinance

While the difference is subtle, a mortgage refinance works a little differently. You still access the equity in your home, but you're getting to it in a slightly different way. With a refinance, you replace your existing loan with a new loan and ask for an additional amount (equal to the equity value) which is added to the new loan. With a refinance equal to 100 percent of the home's value, you end up with one loan instead of multiple loans.

For example, shows let's say Jackie and Robert want to update their kitchen. They decide to refinance their current mortgage and access some equity to help cover the costs. See Chart 2

First, they need to consider how much they still owe on their current home loan. Their current mortgage balance is $80,000, and an appraisal values their home at $100,000. They could refinance 100 percent of their home's value and use what's left ($20,000) to help with remodeling costs.

Learn more about the basics of mortgage lending.

Should You Access Your Home's Value?

There isn't a right or wrong answer. However, borrowing 100 percent of your home's value may offer you greater benefits than other options.

A 100 percent home equity loan or 100 percent mortgage refinance may provide:

  • Larger Amount Of Credit

Borrowing 100 percent of your home's value may mean access to more funds than from another source (i.e. credit card).

  • Lower Rates

Typically, loans secured by a home have lower interest rates than credit cards or other unsecured personal loans.

  • Tax Deductibility1

Generally, the interest on a home equity loan may be tax deductible; whereas, there may be no tax benefits for most personal loans.

Home Equity Loan Options Above 100 Percent

Some lenders allow homeowners to borrow more than the value of their home…more than 100 percent LTV.

There are some lenders that offer 125 percent home equity loan products. That allows borrowers to access 25 percent more than their home's appraised value.

While a 125 percent home equity loan works similarly to a 100 percent home equity loan, there are a few considerations.

125 Percent Home Equity Loan Advantages

  • You can use a 125 percent home equity loan to consolidate high interest rate credit cards or other loans.
  • A 125 percent home equity loan offers the borrower another refinancing option.
  • A 125 percent home equity loan offers the borrower more likelihood for cash out if the first mortgage balance is high.

125 Percent Home Equity Loan Risks

  • Higher LTV ratios often mean higher interest rates for the borrower.
  • Higher interest rates could translate into a hefty monthly house payment.
  • IRS regulations won't allow a tax deduction on any part of a home equity loan that exceeds the home's fair market value (100 percent).
  • If you plan to sell your house, you may have to come up with more money at closing because you have borrowed more than your home is worth. In other words, if you don't sell your home for more than 125 percent of its value, the equity you may have used for a down payment on a new home could be tapped out.
  • Some lenders won't offer 125 percent home equity loans as a second mortgage.

Using Your Home Equity Wisely

Experts don't recommend tapping into your home equity for just anything. However, if you choose to access 100 percent of your home's equity, there are many ways you could use the available funds: making home improvements, consolidating other higher-interest rate credit accounts to simplify monthly finances, purchasing big-ticket items or clearing up medical expenses, for example.

Even though home equity loans can carry lower interest rates than unsecured credit, there is still some risk. Defaulting on any home loan, including a 100 percent home equity loan or 100 percent mortgage refinance, could mean losing your house.

Keeping that in mind, there are times when using 100 percent of your home's equity or home's value may be the right decision for you.

at&t Wireless

AT&T Mobility LLC is the wholly owned wireless subsidiary of AT&T Inc. AT&T Mobility, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, is the second largest mobile phone company, in terms of number of subscribers, under Verizon Wireless. AT&T Mobility has approximately 78.2 million subscribers as of the first quarter 2009.

Formerly a joint venture between SBC Communications and BellSouth, Cingular Wireless soon acquired the old AT&T Wireless; SBC later acquired the original AT&T and re-branded as "the new AT&T". Cingular became wholly-owned by the new AT&T in December 2006 as a result of AT&T's acquisition of BellSouth.

In January 2007, Cingular confirmed it would rebrand itself under the AT&T moniker. The corporate name change occurred immediately, although, for regulatory and brand-awareness reasons, both brands were used in the wireless unit's signage and advertising during a transition period. The transition concluded in late June, just prior to the rollout of the Apple iPhone.

Among the services that AT&T aggressively promotes is its "Rollover" service, allowing customers to keep unused minutes from month to month on a twelve-month rolling cycle on its popular "Nation" nationwide plans. Beginning in July 2007, AT&T now allows its AT&T Unity plan users to have "Rollover", a service which was exclusive to the "Nation" plans. AT&T also launched video share in 2007, in which a mobile caller can stream live video from one phone to another over the 3G network with video share capable phones. This allows one mobile phone user to view another's camera through the mobile phone in real time.

A large number of AT&T Mobility employees are unionized, belonging to the Communications Workers of America. The CWA represented roughly 15,000 of the previous 20,000 formerly AT&T Wireless employees as of early 2006.As of the end of 2007, the CWA website claims roughly 40,000 workers of AT&T Mobility are represented by the union.

Law Lemon Ohio

New Car Lemon Law

You may have a lemonThe Lemon Law in Ohio covers new cars, trucks, RV’s, ATV’s, motorcycles, and any other new motor vehicle.

The Lemon Law will cover you and it does not matter whether you purchased the vehicle or leased it.

Price does not matter. Whether your new lemon car is a Kia, Ford, Chrysler, GM, Pontiac, Chevrolet, Dodge, Lincoln, Saturn, Honda, Oldsmobile, a Ram pickup truck, a Lexus, a Land Rover, or a Rolls, Bentley, Ferrari, or Maserati, the Ohio Lemon Law covers all consumer motor vehicles.

If, within the first 18,000 miles or the first year after delivery, your vehicle is in the shop three times for the same problem and it doesn’t get fixed, then it can be a lemon.

If your new car or new truck is in the shop for more than a total of 30 days during the first 18,000 miles of use or within the first year after the original sale date, then you have a lemon.

If you have more than eight different defects with the vehicle, which come up during the first 18,000 miles of use or within one year from the original date of sale, then you could have a lemon.

If you have a defect that is so serious that it is likely to cause an accident or someone to get hurt, and your dealer does not get it fixed on the very first attempt, you could have a lemon if it was within the first 18,000 miles or within one year after the original sale date.

Don’t fit one of the above definitions? That’s okay, the Federal Lemon Law can help you get rid of your lemon and get your money back.

But watch out for the ways the manufacturer will try to take advantage of you, even when you have a car or truck that is a lemon.

The Ohio Lemon Law does not allow the manufacturer to make any mileage deduction when they buy your car or truck back from you because it is a lemon. Still, you can be sure they will try. Be careful.

If you want your lemon new car to be replaced with one that runs right, the manufacturer is not allowed to charge you for the increase in the sticker price, either. Still, you can bet they will try. The same is true for a lemon truck.

It’s all negotiable! Manufacturers of motor vehicles do not build those new manufacturing plants by repurchasing your lemon car or truck. They do it by arguing with you about it. You can bet that they know their numbers. They know that if they argue with you, stall, or try to drag it out, that the odds are a lot of people will just give up. You don’t have to! When you get stuck with a lemon car or a lemon truck, we can help “unstick” you. Our job is to make the manufacturer take it back and either give you a new one or to give you back your money. Of course, they should also have to pay the legal costs involved in doing it.

Who are we? We are the only law firm in Ohio that has been suing car dealers and car manufacturers for over 30 years, making them take back lemon cars and lemon trucks and give people back their hard-earned money and replace their lemons with new cars and new trucks that run right.

Why do we do it? Because we enjoy making the legal system work right for people who purchased lemon cars and trucks that were built wrong.

Call the Burdge Law office at 1.888.331.6422 and let one of our attorneys handle the matter for you, or email us. You can also fill out our “Free Case Review” questionnaire.

Mesothelioma Information

MESOTHELIOMA AND ASBESTOS-RELATED DISEASES

Asbestos exposure is strongly associated with several potentially fatal diseases and illnesses, the most serious of which is malignant mesothelioma. Asbestos fibers are smaller than other airborne particles and cause serious long-term consequences by penetrating the lung and infiltrating organ tissues. Asbestos-related diseases generally develop many years, even decades, after initial exposure.

MESOTHELIOMA

Mesothelioma is a form of cancer that affects the mesothelial cells lining the lung, chest cavity, abdominal cavity or heart cavity. These mesothelial cells also cover the outer surface of most internal organs forming a tissue called mesothelium that helps protect the organs. Although tumors of the mesothelium can be benign (noncancerous), most cases are malignant (cancerous). Virtually all cases of malignant mesothelioma are attributable to asbestos exposure and are both difficult to diagnose and poorly responsive to therapy. As this form of cancer can occur 20 to 60 years after the initial exposure, it is important to recognize the most common symptoms which include:

  • Anemia
  • Back pain
  • Chest pain
  • Cough
  • Enlarged abdomen
  • Fever
  • Hoarseness
  • Recurrent build-up of fluid in the lungs
  • Shortness of breath
  • Weight loss

TYPES OF MESOTHELIOMA

Pleural mesothelioma spreads within the chest cavity, sometimes involving the lung. Metastases can occur in any organ, including the brain, and the onset is typically very slow with the most common presenting symptom being persistent pain localized in the chest. Sometimes the pain is accompanied by severe difficulty breathing, coughing, weight loss and fever.

Peritoneal mesothelioma involves the abdominal cavity and infiltrates the liver, spleen or bowel. As with pleural mesothelioma, pain is the most common complaint. In addition, patients may also experience nausea, vomiting, swelling of the feet, fever, difficulty in moving their bowels and fluid accumulation in the abdominal cavity resulting in an enlarged abdomen.

Testicular and ovarian mesothelioma are rare forms of mesothelioma. Testicular mesothelioma develops in the scrotal sac as the covering layer of the testicles is actually an out pouching of peritoneum into the scrotum during embryonic development. Mesothelioma can also arise from the surface of an ovary. Ovarian mesothelioma is very rare.

Cystic mesothelioma is a rare form of benign mesothelioma involving a thin membrane of mesothelial cells that envelopes many of the organs in the abdomen. This type has been diagnosed primarily in young women, and most patients must undergo surgery.

Peritoneal Mesothelioma

Peritoneal Mesothelioma (Abdominal Mesothelioma)

Malignant peritoneal mesotheliomaAbdominal cavity showing the location of the peritoneum; peritoneal mesothelioma. is an extremely rare condition. Only 100 to 500 cases are diagnosed in the US each year, making up less than 30% of all cases.

Peritoneal mesothelioma is a cancer affecting the abdominal lining, or peritoneum (paira-tin-e-um), which is why is is sometimes referred to as abdominal mesothelioma. This membrane supports and covers the organs of the abdomen.

The peritoneum is made of two parts, the visceral and parietal peritoneum. The visceral peritoneum covers the internal organs and makes up most of the outer layer of the intestinal tract. Covering the abdominal cavity is the parietal peritoneum.

Cells in these linings secrete a fluid which allows organs to move against one another. For instance, as the intestines move food through the body. The cells of the mesothelium are designed to create fluid, but the cancer causes them to overproduce, creating a build up of excess fluid in the abdominal cavity.

Because pleural mesothelioma is more common and often spreads to the peritoneal cavity, it is important to determine if is the pleural mesothelioma primary cancer.

How does asbestos cause peritoneal mesothelioma?

Although there's no definitive explanation, it is widely believed that asbestos causes peritoneal mesothelioma in one of two ways. First, asbestos fibers may be ingested, and when in the intestinal tract, the fibers may work themselves into the peritoneal cavity and peritoneum. Second, they may be inhaled and transported through the lymph node system to the peritoneal cavity.
